This course provides up-to-date information on legislation relating to age-restricted products and how to prevent the unlawful sale of age restricted products.

Achievement of the qualification forms an essential part of the personal licence course, enabling those selling or authorising alcohol sales to operate both legally and responsibly.

• To be able to identify which products are age restricted by law.
• The procedures for challenging proof of age documentation.
• The current penalties for employers, employees and customers.
• Know how to prevent unlawful sales of age restricted products.
• Conflict management skills in relation to the refusal of sale of age restricted products.
• The benefits of recording sales and admissions refusals.

On completion of this course

On successful completion of the course, the delegate will receive a Prevention of Underage Sales certificate.
