Forestry First Aid

Dynamo Training Solutions are pleased to announce that they now deliver forestry first aid courses.

Forestry First Aid is an add-on course to the (Emergency) First Aid at Work courses and covers additional subjects to situations that might be encountered by Forestry workers.

How long is this Add-on Course?

Forestry First Aid is a 2-hour add-on to our accredited First Aid at Work (FAW) or Emergency First Aid at Work (EFAW) courses and covers additional risks that might be encountered by Forestry workers.

This extra module is designed to meet the requirements of the Forestry Commission First Aid at Work Policy.

It is a ‘bolt-on’ 2-hour unit

In addition to the content of an (Emergency) First Aid at Work course, the Forestry Commission recommends the following topics:

• Hypothermia

• Severe bleeding (for example. chainsaw injury)

• Crush injury

• Tick bites

• Lyme Disease
